It just so happens that we are planning a full redesign of frusterio.com. Therefore, I am interested in what you have to say on business goals and SEO.
I'd say goals first. I have a fair grasp on SEO.
I'm sure most people aren't going to vote for those subjects. But whatever :)

#4 please....so much has been written about inbound marketing lately...all good of course. But, if you are selling an enterprise solution or any solution into the innovator or early adopter space, you better know how to cold call! Before you write the post you might want to check this one out on our site..it is our 2nd most popular posting which says to me there certainly is a lot of interest in the topic! I look forward to your thoughts and thanks for asking.

I'm adding a topic "Link Building On Steroids with Your Brand New Blog" for my man, Doug, @greatmailinglists.com
@Trish: I'm going to be referencing your post as well as Al's post.
@Tony. You got it. Maybe you should write a joint guest post on my blog. You're damn smart and know a lot of this stuff already. Why don't you start the post in a google doc and share it with me. We'll write it together.

How about creative ways to collect leads (aka) contact info from your website visitors.

That's a good one, Jame.
I get so focussed on driving traffic, I forget about lead gen.
Will add that to the list.

Malcolm Sheppard of Gill Media will be posting a guest article about how small businesses have a website presence whether they want to or not, because social media sites allow their clients to talk about them. So, if they want to control their online presence, they should be building it.

sorry to everyone who might be getting all my comments sent by email. I'm using this post to brainstorm myself.
I want to do a post like this using HubSpot's lead generation data:
http://www.nonlinear.ca/blog/index.php/2008/04/08/case-study-comparing-marketing-effectiveness-of-linkedin-facebook-myspace-stumbleupon-and-twitter/
I should probably set up a public wiki page to share these ideas.

Probably will highlight how my sales blog buddies are coordinating their conversations.

"Link Building Starts with Keyword Research". I had a prospect who was not interested in understanding this connection. He thought he knew all there was to know about ranking for his keywords. First, he had no clue that he should rank for more than just 5 keywords and that his efforts would be much more fruitful if he focussed on more lower volume less difficult keywords. Also, he didn't understand the connection between building links around specific keywords.
