No ALT tags: If you use images on your pages, use the alt property of your image tag to explain what the image is. This is another place to use keywords. A picture of a swimming pool on a landscaping site for instance could have an alt tag of alt="landscaped pool area with waterfall and low maintenance plantings". Not only will this help with search engine optimization, it makes the site easier for visually impaired visitors. Visually impaired surfers use browsers that speak the page text. Without alt tags for images, the browser will ignore them.
